The Company

 A major player in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) services our client provides services in the areas of consulting, solution integration, business processes as well as support and training with the overall objective to increase operational efficiency and performance through better processes and methods.

They are looking to recruit a Business Developer who is able to demonstrate strong Business development experience in medium / large companies, experience of Account planning, prospecting and developing sales strategy. Experience of negotiation and sales in a transnational and multi-partners context. Excellent experience in Aerospace and defence industries combined with a good understanding of Product Lifecycle - Engineering and Manufacturing.

Tasks will include 

  • Business development, generating & converting new opportunities, defining a prospect plan (calls, meetings, lobbying etc)
  • Building up and maintaining client relationships throughout the sales process and afterwards
    Contributing to the overall strategy of the concerned BU(s)
  • Produce commercial offers in coordination with the technical teams and with the support of the Pre-Sales team
  • Ensure the quality and the timely response of the technical and commercial offers
  • Perform the calculation of the profitability of each project
  • Calculate the level of subcontracting in each project
  • Ensuring growth
  • Active intervention in the recovery of bad debts at the request of the technical or financial teams
  • Escalation of clients' problems and proactive intervention to reach resolution
  • Updating of all relevant Sales databases

Skills required:

  • Proven proactivity
  • High flexibility to travel, both nationally and internationally
  • Good customer relationship management, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to convince and take initiatives
