The Company

 Our client guides industrial companies to create the most competitive products by defining, implementing and sustaining PLM initiatives. They have extensive experience covering the end to end lifecycle, from creating or refreshing a PLM strategy, to deploying tools, processes and methods, as well as educating and assisting users. Their objective is to increase overall performance and efficiency through better processes and methods.

They are looking for a Windchill Consultant.
Applicants should have gained at least 5 years in a PLM/IS environment and have experience of, Development on PDMlink v9 at least, better on v10.2, Consulting on PDMLink v10, Architecture mission (OOTB design, urbanisation), Project management and Talend development.
 
Responsibilities will include conducting workshops to understand the business requirements outside the tools, supporting the development of application and technical architecture, configuring the software, supporting the development of custom code (including integrations to ERP), developing data architecture and managing data migration efforts.
Architect systems, integrations, interfaces and configurations of Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering systems and providing multiple solution options and recommendations based on experience and best practices.
 
Areas of skills required:
- PDMLink development: java, jsp, javascript, infoengine
- PDMLink Configurator: Soft types, Lifecycle, Workflow, ACL, security manager, preferences, querybuilder, vaults, worker, …
- PDMLink uses: Product Structure, Change management, Doc management, WGM, WBM, EBOM, MBOM, container manager, teams, ...
- Ability to understand customer requirements, define the use cases and demonstrate them in TC as POC or prototype using 95% of the OOTB functions
- Ability to participate and provide guidance in technical review sessions for critical projects
- Good understanding of business processes (no domain restriction)
 
UK and international travel will be required.
